Happy Friday, y’all! I hope you’ve had a great week. Mine has been spent being productive–cleaning, painting and rearranging (yes, nesting is in full effect). I’ll probably be doing more of the same this weekend, but if you’re looking for something interesting to do, I have a few recommendations for ya.

READ IT

Everybody and her mama is talking about how good Sophia Amoruso’s #GIRLBOSS is, and with good reason. I finished it on Wednesday, and it’s definitely a book that I’m gonna be recommending to everyone. And can I make a little confession? I started reading Lean In, but I found it a little…pedantic. Too corporate. I’m going to finish it one day, but I definitely advise you to check out #GIRLBOSS if Lean In wasn’t your flavor.

GO SEE IT

A few months ago I came across this stunning Elle photoshoot featuring dancers from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Toward the end of the article one of the dancers mentioned they’d be touring Germany this summer. Hold up! Wait a minute! I’ve always wanted to see them perform, so how cool is it that they’re in Germany at the moment? Now to figure out if I’m too pregnant to go see them…

IF YOU’RE IN WOLFSBURG

The Allerpark and the Wolfsburg Allgemeine Zeitung (newspaper) have apparently partnered up for a series of family fun Sundays at the Allersee. The fourth of five takes place this Sunday, July 20 from 12:00 to 18:00, and looks like it’ll involve a bouncy castle, football and more; details here.

How do you like this type of post? Is it useful or just meh? Let me know how I can make it better!
