Guten Tag, y’all!
Happy last day of 2012! I hope you guys spend it doing something that makes you happy.
I wanted to write something inspiring and helpful for today, something that would help you get ready for 2013. But I’ve come across so much good stuff in the past few weeks that I decided to compile this list for you instead. I hope something here helps you out, and I wish each of you a happy, healthy, prosperous new year!
Review 2012: Ten Journaling Questions to Help You Reflect on the Past Year | Happy Black Woman
The new year will be here in a few days, and it’s the perfect time to reflect on 2012 as well as set intentions for what you want to happen in 2013. Perhaps you’d like to join me in a guided reflection process to wrap up the end of the year? Today, I’m sharing ten of the journaling questions I’ll be using for myself that you can use to conduct your own review of 2012.
Today’s set of 10 guiding questions will help you set intentions for what you want your life to look like in 2013. Give yourself at least an hour of quiet time for this assignment. Be honest about what you want. (Of course, you are free to use your own questions to conduct your preview or simply use this list as a jumping-off point for something completely different…)

A few days after Christmas, I will start a fire in my fireplace, and cozy up surrounding myself with last year’s journal and my current journal. And then I will begin preparing for a wonderful 2013. Let me show you what I do…
31 Days to a Better Blog | The Writeous Babe Project

Taylor Davies gave a list of 31 things to do in the month of December to make for a more successful blog in the New Year. Unfortunately, I didn’t see this post until a few days into the month and since I’m not a fashion blogger several items on the list didn’t really apply to me. Then I thought, “I feel another blogging challenging coming on!”
Drawing inspiration from Davies’ post, I’ve put together a list of my own: 31 Days to a Better Blog. Here are 31 things to do in January (that’s one task for each day) to improve your blog. What a great way to kick off the New Year…
Getting your routine sorted out is not the be-all & end-all. But it does have benefits. I know that incorporating more positive activities into my life will make me happier & more productive. I recognise the power of ritual, & I acknowledge that when my day has pattern & purpose, everything else is more likely to go well.
In the spirit of the new year, here’s my routine…
